sir, i already tried all those solutions yesterday. i checked them today again. i tried downloading 2008 c++ but it wouldnt install on my pc. i downloaded vegas 8.0c as directed by another gentleman - wont run on my pc. i tried downloading c++ 2010, 2012, 2015, 2017 MULTIPLE times. tried rebooting my pc multipkle times. tried cleaning my pc. tried logging into my pc with another user. tried installing vegas into another hard drive. went on youtube, tried searching there. now im stuck.

See, im just a regular non-IT guy, who needs a simple video editing software to edit my training videos. I shouldnt even be here asking questions but im trying :) I dont know what else to do. I had this software 2 years ago, bought it and installed it on my previous laptop and it was running just fine. Now i have a new PC so i thought ill buy it again as it was really easy to use.
