Where are the updates?

It's been several months since there are more new updates for Vegas Pro 16 to have new codecs for export or others? Car Vegas Pro 16 crash very very often, I think I'm not the only one to have this problem I guess. When I do the editing, when I preview the video, in full best, a given time its block and load, I do not know why, and then its bug, I have to close the application with the manager. Should have a new update. The creators of the software have fallen asleep for several months or what they have forgotten the owners of vegas pro 16?

Vegas Pro 16 Build 361 is one of the most stable versions of Vegas I've ever used. But if you are having trouble you might find some ideas here:

Just because you don't hear about updates doesn't mean they aren't coming. Developing an update can take months just to code it up, then you still have to beta test those results which can take months longer depending on the complexity of the update. Often times turning a wrench here breaks something there, and you have to go around playing whack-a-mole fixing the other issues your new update/bugfix created. This all while also developing features for Vegas 17... give them some time. Better for them to release a properly tested update after several months than rush an update out that causes more issues than it fixes.

 

Disclaimer: I have zero inside knowledge that another update is even in the works, this commentary is based upon my experience with software over the years. That said, they released an update for Vegas 15 not long ago, showing they are committed to updating older versions even after newer ones release.

That said, they released an update for Vegas 15 not long ago, showing they are committed to updating older versions even after newer ones release.

Note though from here: "Please be aware that updating an older version will not be a regular practice."

Good catch... I'm sure it would only happen in cases where there was a widespread problem that was affecting a large portion of their user base, but good to know they are willing to do it when required, none the less.

If your media is AVC (H.264) or XAVC-S, try disabling so4compoundplug. It's point #18 from xberk's link.

I'm glad to hear that from MAGIX. At this point I prefer a stable and solid Vegas with bugs eliminated than a Vegas with new features. I believe this is the right path to follow before new features are released. Thank you Team Vegas!
