Where do I find the Vegas AI Bundle?

imaginACTION_films wrote on 2/10/2021, 8:53 PM

Just tried using the Colorization plugin in Vegas Pro 18. I get a message saying: This plugin requires additional data. Please install the VEGAS AI bundle, which you can download at www.vegascreativesoftware.com.

Had a search and can't find the bundle. Any clues?

Thanks

David

I too am trying to find this mysterious bundle (but for Vegas 19). Why is it so hard? Why isn't it possible to find on the website? Why must customers rely on deep links posted in forums?

Could some kind soul point me to the web page, or, I guess give me the direct link that will work just for me and probably be dead for the next person who reads this?

Thanks!

@kerryland Chrome may not download without a workaround of copying the link text and pasting it to the browser. Try that or use another browser. I just tested this once again and the download worked.

@vkmast Thank you. I tried again and the link is working now. It was giving a 403 error.

Maybe I am missing something but where is this "Vegas AI Bundle" that is needed? Checked the link/s given here but do not see anything called that for download anywhere. I have v19 (381)

The AI bundle is called 'VEGAS Deep Learning Models 19.0.0.0' under the direct links under point 6 in the download page linked above. If instead you use the Vegas Pro 19 download manager, the Deep Learning Models should appear as one of the items to be installed.

Did you use installer, do you recall if AI module was preticked or did it have to be ticked, with default being Vegas install without the AI module. Maybe that's why so many people ask about the AI module

@Former user  ... I can't recall what happened with the installer back when I first installed VP19 b341, but I just opened the installer on a computer that does not have VP19 installed, and both VP19 and the AI Models are already ticked. Maybe people aren't, understandably, associating AI with being in the oddly named "Deep Learning Models" which sounds more like advanced training tutorials or the like rather than being AI FX.
