You need to buy the upgrade from Vegas Pro 15 to Vegas Pro 16. The upgrades are not free unless there is a special offer such as the recent "buy VP 15 and get VP 16 free". The new builds of the same version (e.g. 15) are free updates.

I bought the upgrade "buy VP15 and get VP 16 free" during the offer !! Vegas Pro with Dvd ARchitect, (bought on 18 july).
Hi Marty74, I did the same, the email after purchase from Magix said that I would be sent an email with the VP16 download link, that email with link hasn’t arrived yet, I guess we just wait. The serial no. will be in the email.

Meantime I assume you could download the trial to get you playing and then insert your serial number when you get it to avoid downloading it again.
