So i have Movie Studio 14 Suite, build 91, and was just trying to render a small project

and noticed it will not let me render my project because I was offline. Why am i not able to

use this offline? 😡

Probably because your trying to render using a codec which is not yet registered.

Marco. is referring to point 10 here. Update also your version of the software to build 148. VMS 14 Platinum/Suite had quite a few bug fixes by the last build #148.

I have been using this for about 1 month now, and it is registered and works fine online. Just will not work offline.

I just updated to latest, tested, still no go. see screen shots.

Are the codec(s) you are trying to use activated as per the advice in the FAQ link?

You have to do the same render one time again when you are on-line, than the Mainconcept Mpeg2 codec will be registered and the next time you can render without that connection as I did in my example beneath. You can clearly see that there is no internet connection connection while the render to mpg is going on in VMS 14 Pl.

I have used this codec several times already in online mode, so i assume they are active.

So after much trial and error, I was able to get it to work after an uninstall, then a fresh install.

Something some where must have gotten corrupted along the line.
