Why stays the plain version existing?

Reading and trying to answer sometimes it strucks me that on the forum I read only messages of people that are complaining and if they had knew, had made the decision to buy the platinum version immediatly.

Is this a marketing trick or should there be a lot of users that actually use the plain version to make and edit their videos?

@j-v Folk usually only come here when they have a problem which is why we appear to get many complaints.

Possibly there are many "plain version" users but their requirements are simple and they never come here until they find a tutorial which mentions something that they don't have!
