Windows Store Editions

Hi Team (community and devs),

I hope all is well.

So I've used Vegas Movie Studio in the past, and I just bought a new laptop. I don't want to go for Adobe's subscription software and I saw Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 17 and Vegas Edit 19 on the Windows Store.

I want to verify if these are the correct pages/links for the Vegas programs. There were some rumors that the Windows Store has some fake apps/malware, so I just want to be sure. I will be purchasing both on my new laptop.

Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum:

Buy VEGAS Movie Studio 17 Platinum Windows Store Edition - Microsoft Store

and

Vegas Edit 19

Buy VEGAS 19 Edit Microsoft Store Edition - Microsoft Store

If for some odd reason, these aren't the correct links/pages, please let me know and feel free to post the actual page on the Windows Store.

Thank you.

PS: the links aren't showing up in their typical URL format, but they are linked to pages I found for the Windows Store.

You can get Vegas Edit 19 here for the same price - so why buy elsewhere if you're not sure you're getting a fake?

+1 @walter-i.

If you haven't yet, please check also the current (upgrade) prices in the MAGIX/VEGAS Online Shop at the website. The VEGAS Movie Studio product line has now been discontinued (v.17 is the last one and you cannot purchase it from MAGIX any more. Movie Studio 18 is a totally different product.). Note though that you can most likely upgrade to VEGAS Edit at a reduced upgrade price using the serial number of your old VMS. VEGAS Edit is VEGAS Pro without some extras that you may not need.

Some one else may be familiar with the Windows Store versions' restrictions/advantages.

These are legitimate offerings on the Microsoft Store.
