Youtube Upload failure

I've tried 3 different approaches to upload video to youtube. I spent 45 hours creating a sports highlite video for college. Attempted to upload via Vegas Movie studio. I rendered the video to MP4

Error stated: Username or Password was not Recognized by server.

I then went straight to youtube and attempted to browse computer & upload from hard drive. I noticed even though I rendered the video as MP4 it was saved as (VF) which was the only option within Vegas Movie software

Error stated: File may not be a valid video file.

I then created a business page in google plus with a different name and password and received another error.

Error stated: No linke to youtube account.

I then completed a link in the new google business account this time I got the error

ERROR stated: Failed to Render for Youtube.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not correct. The .vf file is just the project file. Check your workflow.

I'm confused as when I save it automatically saves with the only option is as follows: Vegas Movie Studio Project File (*.vf)

Please advise.

Correct. But "The question becomes: Once you're done with all of your editing, how do you deliver this new creation to your audience?."
What does "Render" mean?
In MSP 13 you render through the Make Movie wizard.
Click Make Movie > Save it to my hard drive, give your movie a name and place to save, choose MP4 format and click Advanced options. Then in the Render as window choose the MainConcept AVC option and the Internet HD 720p template. Render and you get a .mp4 file.
