The 3D feature is not working neither in anaglyph nor in sbs. It was working. Now it is not. This is on separate computers. Is it a Windows 10 problem?
Both on eBay and Amazon they offer the Asus 3D monitor for very atractive price (not over 200Euro; at my time it was 500+).
Anyway, they are not new products and the max resulotion is 1080p.
If you really wanna buy such a piece, please let the seller confirm that the 3dglass (Nvidia) is included. I lost my glass so I save to take my monitor for further chekc. It's too old.
Now I remember I used it at the last under Windows 10 (not 19043 but 1800?) with an AMD card. That's why I must adjust it into sidebyside half manually.
The crux of the issue is Vegas Movie Studio has stopped working in 3D like it used to?
My understanding is that Movie Studio has always been produced by the same developers as Vegas Pro, but the latest update Movie Studio 19 is based on a Magix product, not the original Vegas program.
This might explain why MS19 functionality has changed. Perhaps installing MS19 has also altered the earlier versions as well?

True, but that is not the issue. Such monitors (and I have a lot of them here) work with nvidia 3D vision glasses (not available any more, but I have enough here). And they work only with the nvidia 3D vision drivers - that do not work with the latest Win10 any more.
You cannot use such a 144Hz monitor as sbs half passive 3D monitor - does not work (and such monitors or TVs are also not available any more). You cannot use such a monitor with the Decklink 4K that offers a frame packaged 3D signal - still another format - what requires an ACTIVE 3D HD-TV (not available any more too).
So the issue is a complex situation of missing hardware, outdated drivers, and incompatible Windows versions that break also the s3D feature in Vegas.
Conclusion: use your old and existing systems as long as you can. For me it is a Win 8.1 system with nvidia 3D vision drivers, glasses and monitors. And do not expect that the wonder happens, that all will be fixed - in Windows 10/11, Vegas Pro 19, new drivers. Be aware that you will not find new hardware if the old one breaks - eg for the old PC but also for s3D cameras like the TD10 or Z10000.
Even a fix in VP19 would not be enough, since actual nvidia 3D vision drivers are still missing
Would need another 3D hype, and that will come only if we have a technology that works without glasses.
No mention of Vegas Pro from the TO, only "Vegas". And "It is for Vegas M S P to find a patch or a solution to this. Hopefully, they will." Plus "I had Vegas 18."

You are right. However, in the older versions VMS was created from the VP versions. And in terms of the s3D preview we had no difference between the products.
Unfortunately, it does not change anything. I would not expect that we will see batches for the older VMS or VP versions to correct that. At least my opinion.
Do the various versions of Vegas Movie Studio work with Windows 8? If they do the solution would be to install Windows 8 on a computer and keep it. Or to install an early version of Windows 10 and keep it from upgrading if that is possible. I use 3D projectors not monitors or TVs. I post 3D video on youtube. Anaglyph works best for that as youtube does not always show sbs in 3D.
The earlier versions work with win8. That is why I have recommended you to do so. It is much harder to prevent win10 to downloader and install win10 upgrades.
Uninstalled the programs. Reinstalled them in compatibility mode with Windows 8. That works on one computer.
Method 2:
Uninstall the current version of the movie studio 13 and then reinstall it in Windows compatibility mode. See if it makes any difference. Follow the steps listed below:
Press Windows+X keys and select Programs and Features.
Locate Sony Movie Studio and right click on it. Select Uninstall. Follow the onscreen instructions to do so.
Locate the folder that has the setup file for the application.
Right Click on the setup file for the driver which you have downloaded. Click on Properties.
Go to Compatibility tab and check the box which states “Run this program in compatibility mode for”.
Select the version of Windows 8 from the drop down list. Click on Apply and then on OK.
Double Click on the .exe setup file for the application and follow the onscreen instructions to install Movie Studio. If this doesn’t help, you can choose a different version of Windows for compatibility mode and then verify the results.
Note: While installing the application, make sure that you install other application related to it and when asked to do. Sometimes, not installing the additional applications provided with setup could result in such scenarios.
Also, try updating the display driver and check if it helps. Refer to the link to know how to update display drivers on Windows 8.1.
No cigar. 13 worked brief in compatibility mode with Windows 8 then not at all. 14, 15, 16 & 17 re-installed in compatibility with Windows 8 and opened in compatibility with Windows 8 shimmered for an instant in anaglyph then reverted to 2D,
