6.0 opens the project, 7.0 fails at 88% and hangs forever

Tried every fix available via google. Opened a ticket, it's been ignored. Haven't even gotten a robot response.

How the heck do I fix this? It's absolutely INSANE that I spent $500+ on a package THAT DOES NOT WORK ...

The OLD version opens the project. The NEW version (even the latest build 84) freezes opening the SAME project.

What the heck are you doing, Magix? Do you WANT us to NOT buy your product?

It's a SIMPLE project, with static menus w/buttons calling avc+ac3 videos.

Which version originally created the project? Your $500 was not just DVDA so take a breath and we can figure it out.

6.0 created it. 6.0 happily opens it.

I tried recreating the exact same thing in 7.0, element by element. Once saved, it fails to open it.

I can open the 7.0 created project in 6.0 without issue.

7.0 is clearly faulty, and clearly needs to be fixed, yet all I find on Google is post after post after post of issues specifically with DVDA 7.0 (and usually .avc files) with no fixes. Why am I spending all this money on product that doesn't work?

I want to hear someone from Magix answer that.

Here we are on the cusp of Vegas 16, and I'd like to know why I should spend my hard earned money on it, when a MAJOR piece of BOTH Vegas 14 and 15 still doesn't work TWO YEARS later.

You may not hear from Magix since this is a user forum. Good luck.

I'm also having problems. Very carefully I add one title at a time, save project, open again. At some stage it will then fail to open (or it will open and fail when adding a file). I've deleted every version of DVDA I had and tried again. Same results.

Where can I download the final build of DVDA 6.0? as I realise my latest saved installer was not the last.

Tim, see https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-where-can-i-download-vegas-pro-and-other-vegas-software--104782/, points 3, 4, or 5 under DVD Architect (scroll down the page). I think build 237 was the last (and only?) SCS build. If Magix released a rebranded DVD A 6.0, it should be in those links.

Thanks vkmast. Build 237 was what I think I'm after....

I tested the point 6 (legacy SCS) DVD A 6 b 237 link and it seems to still work ATM.
