Activating other version

I bought Vegas365 and activate Vegas16. But this version crash all the time. I deactivated V16 and I trying to activate Vegas14 ...but I getting "error code -14". Why I cannot activate other version ?

Do you own a perpetual version of Vegas Pro 14? I think the first Vegas 365 came with v.15.

I downloaded V14 from here http://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/int/downloads/
and I wanted to use a code from Vegas 365 to activate it.

I'm afraid the Vegas 365 code is not valid for VP 14. And note that "you will not be able to open a project created in VP 15 [or 16] (365 or perpetual) in VP 14." (Here)
