Before when a video clip had finished rendering I got an audio "sound" ..... but all of a sudden that notification does not work in my Vegas Pro 17. ... in other words, when a video clip is finished rendering I'd like to hear an audio sound.
Do you use Vegasaur?
This feature has not changed since it was added in VP 12. Check the Windows sound control panel to make sure it is set. Another thing to note is that the audio notification will only occur for renders that take over 1 minute to complete.
I checked my windows control panel and tested the sound. Still no sound from vegas when the clip is finished

I guess I do not use Vegasaur. , what does that have to do with the audio sound not playing when the clip is finished rendering?

Did you check the Vegas Pro 17 Render Complete action?
As you can see, I don't do system or application sounds.
