If I want to get out of build 307 and re-install 261, do I need to un-install 307 before installing 261?

Maybe it's a stress disorder, but lately, I tend to avoid risking time-consuming, frustrating, and possibly damaging and expensive digital disasters, especially when they can usually be avoided by brief conversations with an amenable and experienced community of experts. Widetrack, I was on my way to answer your question, then read that vkmast jumped in quick to provide the answer you were looking for (he is really good at that).
