thank vkmast for the link, I think it refers to pro version. the options mentioned I couldn't access. my frustration is, why must I be genius to use the program. their help assistance goes off in some unrelated garbage.
Much of the advice in the FAQs apply to Movie Studio versions as well. And from the first section of the link I gave: "Use MediaInfo to help identify the properties of your media and how it was encoded."
