Forum Software - new feature

I look in here practically every day and unfortunately spend a lot of useless time trying to find the first new post in a thread. Since English is not my native language, it is doubly difficult.

Is it just me?

Would it be possible - such as: in another current forum software like videotreffpunkt - to program a feature that when opening a thread - immediately on the first new post since the last opening is performed?

Walter, if you click on the thread title it will open from the start.

I'll try again:
I read in a Thread all answers. The next day I see that someone has written a new, additional answer and click the thread. Then I want (because the software has noticed when I last opened this post) immediately "jump" this new answer. So I do not have to search through the "old" answers again.

I think something like your request has been included on the list from the start. Currently you can only receive "email message[s] to New comment on followed post" if you check that option in your Profile Settings.

English is also not my language, I'm a neighbour from the west side of the German border.
When I see that there is a new answer I simply click on the right side of that message and than opens that last answer.

I use Chrome with the Stylish extension to see all new answers in Black in stead of normal as I see on other browsers.

Unfortunately not in Firefox - Or is there somewhere in the properties a special check mark?
That would also be practicable for me.
