Are you going to explain it to the rest of us, or is this forum only for those who speak German now?

my first problem was that vegas didnt openevery mp4 or avi files most files opened but a few not i tried to fix it someone on youtube said i should download vlc player quicktime player and k lite codec pack after that it just got worse now files who worked before doesnt work now and when i opened my project it says at the start that vegas couldnt open a few clips i cant even search for the lost file i only can ignore or change it with another video but all my videos are in one folder i dont understand it after i deleted k lite and vlc this happened i think and now i have this 2 problems 1. vegas doesnt open every avi or mp4 file and 2. in my project are like 5 videos who are missing and it only says "media offline" and yes i tried to change it in the prefences but nothing happened i just waqnt my old clips back so i dont have too change the missing videos in my project step byy step :/

In practice, Marco. is referring the OP to here, point 19 and point 17 as a first step.

I see. MediaInfo is very easy to use. When you download and install it (it is free), you can right-click on any media file and select MediaInfo from the pop-up menu. It will open a window with a detailed information about the media file.

You can copy that information and paste it to a message here, which will give people here the information they need to help you.
