Read the manual and special what the buttons of 1 and the functions of 2 can do in the Pan/Crop option.

As per Cornico, but also check that the appropriate preset is selected in Pan/Crop. Also, you might find Track Motion in the track header might work if all else fails, but take into account that track motion adjustments affect all events on that track.

I tried but what it does is it only spaces out the images leaving a black space
