How to activate Vegas Pro 17

I already have a serial number for Vegas Pro 17 registered to my Magix Account but I don't know how to activate it in the application. Could someone help me please, I activated the trial version but when i try to enter my serial, it says it's already been used.

The Serial Number you entered is invalid or may apply to another product. Please make sure you entered it correctly or check whether you accidentally entered the serial code of another product. If the problem persists, you can get help on the support website. Error Code: -14

However, the serial number I entered I checks out initially giving a check and also i successfully registered it to my Magix account.
