I am reluctantly adapting to these by now because I do like symplifications in sinage. But I believe that these are so oversimplified that if there would be a row of dots I'd adapt to them the same way: by getting used to their placements in the row of look alikes.
Very little would be needed to improve their readability by adding a second color just as long as the icons wouldn't be silhuetts anymore. It's a bit idiotic to use silhuettes where the icons do not have such easy to recognize shapes such as a house for home -- and most of these are not shaped that way.
Please, please, please, Magix, change those ghastly unusable V14 icons - make it a prioroty. I can't tell them apart (aging eyes). Just realised V14 will be virtually unueabble unless I can create keyboard shortcuts for everything. Please give us an option to use the old icons.
late to the discussion i know, but i just sat at a friends 14 (haven't bothered with it so far) and i have to say i'm appalled by the icons!
this sort of strikes me as change for change sake. they are bland, indistinguishable at a quick glance and a complete backstep in making vegas a forward-looking nle.
Yes I agree. New icons are terrible. Vegas seems generally old. I want a brand new visual as Catalyst, Reaper, or this ......

Wow, I was going to complain about the same thing..reminds me of my old commodore vic20 computer..I think it's a 1-bit, 1 color icon..Just awful.
I can't tell between save and save as icon unless I read the pop-up help...awful...hard to recognize.
I vote to revert it back...eee-yuck!
