Installing software on a second computer

Hi, I've just bought a new laptop. I've 'deactivated' my Vegas Pro 16 on the 'my products' page on the Magix website, installed the software on my new machine. I thought I'd just need to enter my serial number, etc. on the new laptop. But it comes up with a message saying 'this serial number is already in use'. There's no option to 're-activate' the software on my Magix 'my products' page. What should I do? Other posts on the topic suggested the 'deactivation' approach first....but now I don't know how to reactivate! TIA.

The email address you use to log-in to this forum and the email you used for 'Magix Service Center> My Products' could be different. To see your Vegas activation details, you must use the email address that is was used when VP was initially registered and activated.
If all else fails, you can email Magix/Vegas customer service at: infoservice@magix.net .
