Have you tried to login into your Magix account in the Service Center? Look to see if both activations are currently being used, if so the deactivate one that is not being used any more. Also, this would be Vegas Pro 14...a Magix product, not Sony.

As @Dexcon says, Sony/SCS did not release any Vegas 14 version, there are only VEGAS Pro 14 and VEGAS Movie Studio (Platinum) 14 from MAGIX. Hopefully you bought your software from a reliable source, MAGIX sells only the latest versions of VEGAS software.
In most cases, a paired email address (along with the serial code) is needed to re-register Magix products, so get access to that or have the seller transfer it to you using your email address. Otherwise contact Magix support as @vkmast stated.
