ok, so I tried Vegas beta out and it knocked me out ...
after having had troubles choosing between Cakewalk and Saw
for may audio multitracking needs finding pros and cons
with both alternatives, it seems as if SF has presented the
perfect compromise.
Vegas looks good, feels good and is so easy to work
with ... before Cake goes down the drain, lemme just pose a
few ?'s ...
well, well
I know that these two questions may be *boring* but just
for the record I'd like to get SF's answers to the
following:
1. release date?
2. price?
Also, how does one go about to have something corresponding
to Cakewalks 'Templates' in Vegas Pro?
And, how does one patch a DX effect to the full signal of a
track?
Last, and most important, when a project is finished and
the Vegas audio dir is full of mega huge wav files ... how
do I save my project in a way similar to Cakewalk's .bun
format (only the referenced wavs', and even only the used
sections of them ... like the 'erase unused' command in the
Audio Pool of Cubase VST)... so that I can save the project
with its media files as one handy 'unit' and delete all of
the leftovers and bad takes from the audio dir?
