Missing Executable Error when trying to launch VMS17 Steam Edition

I am using Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum - Steam Edition. I have an Intel i7-7700HQ CPU on a Windows 10 computer.

Side note: I've already followed [https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=518954593] this tutorial to no avail, from start to end, as well as [https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/support/article/how-to-solve-installation-errors-for-steam-versions--538/] this tutorial, and even tried amalgamating the steps of each of those two guides, but still have gotten no results, and I am now at a loss.

Side note 2: I had a problem similar to this previously, found [https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-movie-studio-17-steam-edition-sfvstwrap-dll-error--131478/] here, but I managed to solve it. I had to reinstall the software between then and now though, and now am facing the same problem, but sadly I've forgotten what steps I took to solve it, as the .dll error I experienced on that previous forum post is not present now. Since the errors are rather similar this post will sound somewhat like this new one.

Every time I try to launch MS17P-SE from Steam directly, I get an error message that states "Missing Executable" at the file location [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Movie Studio 17.0 Platinum\Movie Studio Platinum 17.0], the executable in question being "MovieStudioPlatinum170.exe". Once, when following that second tutorial, I was able to copy the info from the [C:\Program Files\VEGAS\Movie Studio 17.0 Platinum] file, and got it to successfully launch without giving me the executable error, but this time I had a new problem: Steam would, after startup of the app, close out the app mysteriously, and go back to the "Launch" phase. Even by trying to run the application in the folder outside of Steam resulted in this same mysterious crash. I cannot supply a log file to this, since Steam does not keep log file crashes like that, and neither does MS17P-SE in the _logs folder. So I decided to uninstall and reinstall the program again, but this time could not find the proper files to copy over, so I was never able to get back to that step. I've also followed the first tutorial (with updated info about MS17P-SE as opposed to MS13P-SE, including repairing the 2015-2019 Windows C++, which is, as of now, the 2015-2022 Windows C++), but still gotten the same issue.

I know my computer is 100% capable of running the software, and I know my computer can, since I was able to run the program after solving the first error seen in my first forum post in September up until now, after I've uninstalled/reinstalled it. I feel like I've gone down several rabbit holes with no results. Any suggestions on where to go next?

@AidanGe if you don't get working suggestions here, you might try and ask VEGAS Support (advice here).
