I think it's just that the UI for the Movie Expansion Pack entry in Vegas Hub was just finished, so it's time to promote it. It's actually the same orignal Movie Expansion Pack.

Probably so. But wording as "our newest Movie Expansion Pack" indicates there should be more than just one?

I already have Movie Expansion Pack Vol. 1, and quite satisfied with it - but new stuff is always interesting.

The Hub link takes you to the product pages, which currently offer this bundle

Looks quite the same as before - just with slightly updated text. Still unclear if it's only the description that is adjusted, or if the content is updated too?

It looks like the same pack but may be at a lower price? I can't recall what the old price was.

I think "Movie Expansion Pack Vol. 1" came out already a couple of years ago, and the price was $800.00 (that's also what Vegas now states as "regular price")? I bought the pack about 4 months ago - as a christmas present to myself - and then the price was same as it is now: $199.00

Accessing it through Hub Explorer it's $149.

vkmast wrote on 3/27/2022, 4:12 AM

@RogerS seems to be further discounted only a while ago.

Edit: odd, now I get the $199 again.

Upon further reflection, I think the price was actually € 149.00 (plus some taxes) back then? Can't really remember.

Anyway, it seem not to be a new package. But still wonder if there is an update or not?

Is what you have different than what VKMast posted at 6:36 PM? If not it's the same thing.

Price might be different depending on how to get to the Vegas "shop"? In my case I can find it only by browsing my way via the website - not via HUB -  as links from HUB are broken.

The link from Hub works for me and it goes into the cart as $149.00. I'm using a US version of Vegas.

What if you go to page via website - https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/expansion-packs/ - is the price the same?

No, that's $199 for me.

Please keep in mind that if you have BorisFX Units obtained from different sources, they all need to be from exactly the same version of BCC. As has been mentioned many times on this forum over the years, and on BorisFX's forum as well, BCC Units from different versions (i.e. version 2021.5 as per the Expansion Pack offer versus any other BCC Unit version either earlier or later) do not co-exist on the same computer.

This is not a Vegas Pro issue, it is a limitation of BorisFX's technology, but with plugins not unique to BorisFX.
