What version of Movie Studio? VEGAS versions of Movie Studio (i.e. 17 and older) should be allowed on two machines. For versions 18 and newer, you'd have to check with Magix in the Magix Movie Studio forum.

One (perpetual) license can activate a Magix application on two (2) PCs simultaneously.
You can deactivate one of two devices however and re-activate it on an alternate PC.
OTOH, the '365' subscription versions can only be activated on one (1) device at a time.

Whatever the current Platinum version is I just upgraded. I mostly only use Vegas Pro 19 but that's on my main machine in the studio. I wanted to play around with movie studio on my upstairs computer and my surface. I just clicked on video and this is where the comment popped up. Thanks again!

The current Platinum version (of Movie Studio) is a MAGIX product based on a different product (not on the VEGAS Movie Studio). As @jetdv noted, it's supported on the MAGIX Community forums here: https://www.magix.info/us/video-forum/movie-studio/

The VEGAS Movie Studio product line was discontinued mid-2021. The last versions were #17.

Thank you sir. I just wanted something a little lighter weight for the upstairs computer so I don't have to go down into the studio to do simple things.
