I bought VMS14 Plat March 2017. Will I be able to get the version 15 upgrade for free?

I doubt it. MS14 was released in Feb 2017 and you, like me, purchased it soon after. But we should be able get MS15 at an upgrade price.

Is there any marketing info on VMS15 yet? I read somewhere that it will have better GPU accelerated rendering. Just wondering what technology it will use? OpenCL/GL, NVenc? Industry seems to be headed toward OpenCL/GL , but my experience that just isn't as fast.

There is something that Vegas Marketing team should consider when doing these kind of offers: if people using VMS13 did not buy VMS14, it means that the new features of VMS14 were considered minor or not interesting, so not worth the money.
Now, the offer says: buy VMS14 and you will get VMS15 with... with what ?
The description of VMS15 is really vague and I hardly doubt I (and maybe others) will spend money if they do not know exactly what are they buying.
For other SW that I bought, they did something similar but it was crystal clear what were all the new features of the next version.
Ok, the price is quite cheap, so it would not be a drama, but still I do not see this campaign done in the proper way: usually people want to know what are they buying....
