NewBlue FX

Has anyone been able to SUCCESSFULLY install a NewBlue FX essentials, filters, or whatever, that did NOT come with movie studio 12 or higher? I'm torn between Pinnacle, and Movie Studio. Whichever one will let me do the aforementioned activity will be my choice. VEGAS Pro is above my ability to afford.

Thank you.

I am running Windows 10 on a quad core with 18 gigs of RAM and a NVIDIA 730 graphics card. In case that's relevant.

Absolutely. I have a number of filters, Essentials, Titler and FX installed that did not come with Movie Studio. If it helps, I moved away from Pinnacle Studio a number of years ago to Movie Studio. Movie Studio is a lot more stable to run/render. If you want to test it, download a trial of Movie Studio and a trial of your desired FX from NB.

Thank you Mark655.

Soon after Pinnacle bought Avid Studio and put out version 15 or 16, Pinnacle did crash. A LOT! Second question, if you can. The version of MS is 13 when it was still part of Sony. I enter the S/N and system says it's invalid. Now all the NewBlue stuff has the watermark on it. Any ideas on how to solve either one?

Thanks

Sounds like it could be this issue: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/activation-of-new-purchase--103159/#ca636374

Ok. Just one last question, for now. 😁

What are the differences, if any, between MAGIX VEGAS Movie Studio 13 Platinum and Sony creative software's version of Vegas Movie Studio 13 Platinum. Both major and minor.

Thank you all.

I could not find any difference exept the namegiving of the program and the FX's.

Could you clarify 'and the FX's"? Why would why rename the FXs? I mean a color swap id a color swap. Unless it's from 'Sony' color swap to 'MAGIX' color swap. THAT makes sense. kind of.

The product isn't Sony anymore so the FX is renamed from "Sony ......." to "Vegas ......"
