Now only one good product is needed.

Ever visited the Movie Studio section of this forum? Or Dr Zen's MSZ site? They clearly show the need. "We" don't go to the other consumer NLEs for probably the same reasons you need to come back to the Vegas side. Both are good products, but will never be perfect especially if the customer always wants to pay less.

Anyway, as I said before, it's great to be able to express differing opinions and not to think alike. Here.

Considering Movie Studio is a cut down version of Pro it's not as though they are completely separate programmes. We also share the same bugs, problems and frustrations.

Damn and I just upgraded to 14 Suite AND swapped out my gtx 690 for a RX 489 to take advantage of open CL.

But saying that I'm not impressed by what I read in the Vegas Magazine that was linked in this thread... new colour user interface WoW that must have taken a whole hour for the Vegas team to implement.
I don't want cosmetic changes.

Would much rather have had better stability, faster rendering times and higher rendering quality, less slow down in the preview screen.

Oh and I already have Titler Pro 5 which is terrible! So slow it makes using it impossible (infact I don't use it all and still use the Pro Titler that is built in to Vegas)

I do not think that all the changes are cosmetic changes only, and I see important new features for the future.

If you have purchased VP14 recently only, I would contact the customer service.

I've only read what is in this article https://vegas-magazine.com/vegas-pro-15-release/

I can't find any more info about V15 other than it is coming out on the 28th August. Some reviews would be nice (there is one in English on youtube by Casual Savage)

The new features mentioned in the article haven't inspired me. And to be honest I'm still using V12 (which is rock solid) as I iron out bugs/settings/patches/updates in V14.

Shame I wasn't aware of nvidia 600 series and above not supporting open CL but also shame Vegas Pro 14 blurb never mentioned needing open CL to use Smart Zoom etc, before I purchased the full Suite... I get constant crashes with gpu acceleration enabled (this was with my gtx 690) but works fine now with my Radeon RX 480.

I think we have to wait what will be available on the 28th.
