@Rich Parry Really nice. I particularly admired the effect of the stationary fly-byes with the background panning.

@Rich Parry, That was, indeed lovely. Bosque is on my bucket list (my sister lives in Albuquerque). I see you concentrated on the Sandhill Cranes. How were the Snow Geese?

One of a set of ten promo videos for the Montessori Schools system. Singles, Sony PXW-FS7 two shots, PXW-Z90. High shots DJI Phantom 4 Pro. Edited, graded plus graphics all done in Vegas 17 in 2019. No shallow DOF as the client wanted as many of the teaching aids to be visible in the background. The first lady had a very scratchy voice, unfortunately!

cyvideo wrote on 1/19/2022, 6:17 AM

VHS to 720p restoration of a 1986 Dire Straits Concert that was never released on tape or DVD. Liaised with Guy Fletcher from DS to get approval hence the VEVO slug. All graded and noise reduced using Neat Video and then 16:9 matted in Vegas 16 and 17. All tech details with the vids.

Here's a 10-sec test clip shot spur of the moment the other night when I spied the moon coming up... have shot stills of the moon before but 1st attempt at video was trickier than expected.

In the worst of the first wave of the pandemic, here in Europe, we suffered a confinement that in Spain was already almost three months. At that time I made this video and its music one night to remember that life is as beautiful and brief as a bubble.

I used a Lumix FZ1000 and edited it with Vegas Pro 15.

@juan_rios

Hi Juan, I agree with everyone that your video and music is gorgeous. Try my 16-255toStudio LUT (gratis) to reclaim 8.5% of lost highlight detail; it will also deepen your colors a bit. If you like it, I'll explain what it does. Also, your audio is clipped, as you can see in the screenshot. Lowering the gain by -6dB should bring it closer to Youtube streaming standard.
