Re-downloading VEGAS Pro 14

The_Finnisher wrote on 1/7/2021, 3:06 AM

Hello. I have a license key to Sony Vegas Pro 14, which has already been registered on my old account. I would like to be able to download it again through this new account of mine. I cannot login to my old account.

As this is a user forum and no-one here has access to your serial numbers, you will need to contact MAGIX support via your new account to seek assistance. The following link takes you to a guide to do that:

With your support request, it would be helpful to include the email address that was used for your old account (if you know it) even if you don't know its password, unless there is another reason that you can't login to your old account.

Please note that Vegas Pro 14 is not a Sony product - the last Sony version of Vegas Pro was 13. After 13, ownership transferred to MAGIX where understandably Sony name was dropped from the Vegas Pro product name.

Dell Alienware Aurora 11

Windows 10 Home

10th Gen Intel i9 10900KF - 10 cores (20 threads) - 3.7 to 5.3 GHz

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8GB GDDR6 - liquid cooled

64GB RAM - Dual Channel HyperX FURY DDR4 XMP at 3200MHz

C drive: 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD

D drive: 6TB WD 7200 rpm Black HDD 3.5"

E & F drives: 2 x 2TB Barracuda HDDs 2.5"

Unfortunately the support article link refers you to MAGIX Support. Principally it's the same but you need to start here for VEGAS Support: > Ask Support

(If you cannot activate that, try and contact VEGAS Support as advised.)

General advice:

"How many computers can I use VEGAS Pro on?
You can use VEGAS Pro (14.0 and later) simultaneously on 2 devices. There are 2 ways to deactivate a device so you can activate a different one:

Visit your MAGIX account > My Products > Show More Details > Deactivate. This option can be used only once a month.

From the VEGAS Pro Help menu choose Deactivate the Software on this PC. This option can be used as often as you wish. An internet connection is required."
