This is because Twixtor adds or removes frames during the interpolation process but does not automatically adjust the new event length. Red or blue frames correspond to frames that were removed.
This also happens with the new VEGAS Slow Motion plugin, but instead of red or blue frames, the event keeps repeating until the end of the adjusted length.
When this occurs it is not possible to cut the event as this makes Twixtor redo the interpolation process to adjust to the new event length.
The solution to this is to create a subclip of the event where Twixtor will be used and apply Twixtor as Media FX instead of Video FX. By doing this, you can cut the event and remove the red or blue frames without any problems.

@Former user - Yes to the Subclip, I watched the Tute on this a billion years ago, but why apply as a Media Fx? Why would I then do that? Interesting 🤨. Seriously, what will this give me?
Oh, the other thing is to ensure Disable Resampling is ON, meaning Resampling is OFF.

This is because Media FX effects do not allow synchronization with the timeline. To solve this follow these steps bellow:
1.Create a subclipe of the event where Twixtor will be applied.
2.Apply Twixtor as Video FX in the subclipe. This way you can synchronize the cursor with the timeline.
3.Set the parameters in twixtor.
4.Save the Twixtor Video FX as preset in Filter packages using the Plugin Chain.
5.Remove the Twixtor Video FX effect from the subclipe.
6.Now apply the Twixtor preset saved in Filter Packages as Media Fx in the subclipe.
7.Done! Now just eemove the red or blue frames in subclipe.
