And ALL for only SALE Price offer of $971.25! And you get to pay this, again, as it’s only subscription, and maybe not at SALE price, next year too! Count me.... guess what 😏 .
Fine products, squeezing what they can from devout end-users. I’m in the wrong business.....
During the Gold Rushes the people who made profits, year on year, where iron mongers, wheelbarrow providers and Houses of ill-repute.

@lan-mLMC Ah, this is an email trawling exercise! Another way to extend the effectiveness in Cost-To-Reach. It’s only Business 😉. Yah win and then you’re a potential Winner, and this for ONE year, then back onto Subscription. Nice.....
@Grazie ... but the good thing about BorisFX products is that if the subscription is let lapse, the product/s can continue to be used as is (up to the last eligible update/upgrade) beyond the subscription end date. The same with FXHome products. The only thing that I'm not sure about with BorisFX is if the upgrade and support arrangement (a la subscription) is let lapse and one wants to get back on to the hampster-wheel, say, 6 months later, does upgrade pricing still apply or does a full-priced new purchase have to be made? Assuming that upgrade pricing applies, then its really not much different to Vegas Pro in that we get updates during the life of the VP version - usually 12 months - and then choose to either upgrade to the next version or to skip a version or so before upgrading. If VP is not upgraded with the next version, then the old version can continue to be used as is based on the last update of that version.
@Dexcon forgive me being dense (ask my wife...) but it you have a subscription, it will continue to work after the 1 year? What would be the difference between subscription to Continuum compared to perpetual new license, which costs much more?
Permanent Licenses: All licenses acquired during your Upgrade and Support contract (including upgrades, floating, and render licenses) are permanent and will continue to be functional even if your contract expires.
Re:
What would be the difference between subscription to Continuum compared to perpetual new license,
I'm not sure, but my "subscription" for BCC and Mocha Pro appears on BorisFX's app as being a perpetual licence.
But looking at the purchase options from BorisFX's website for BCC OFX, I really don't understand the differences either. $146.25 annual subscription seems unbelievably cheap (meaning less than inexpensive) unless it turns out to be per month in the fine print at the checkout. I've not seen pricing offered this way before - not that I check it out all that often.
@michael-harrison that is what I thought.. perpetual meant "forever". Even if Boris goes out of business and there won't be any more updates, the perpetual will keep on working.
Where subscription stops when you stop paying is what I thought... like with Adobe.
