Trouble with Movie Studio Platinum

I have downloaded the software which took forever. Now the Sound Forge Audio and the Magix PC check showed up on my desktop however the movie part did not show up. I found it in my downloads and when I click on it to open it up it keep asking me to download it. Then when I tray it comes back and tells me that I have already downloaded it.

If you mean VEGAS Movie Studio Platinum (v. 17 and earlier), please note that this product line has been discontinued and is not available to buy from the manufacturer any more.

If you mean the totally different Move Studio 2022 product line (which is a totally different product from MAGIX), it is supported at https://www.magix.info/us/video-forum/movie-studio/

Btw. where did you download the software from?

OK, I clicked on the link in my downloads and it say "File Description: VEGAS Movie Studio 17 Platinum. I look at the bottom of the boy ant it says Copyright MAGIX software GmbH 2020. Vegas is a registered trademark of MAGIX software GmbH. I purchased it this week from Best Buy, what should I do now?

Did Best Buy give you the download links and the serial number(s) or any voucher code(s)?

No they did not. I got a box that had the voucher code in it and once it got loaded I received and email from Magix that said " You have redeemed your voucher code XXX. The following products are available to you. The first one is VEGAS Movie Studio 17 Platinum followed by a serial number which I put in. There was also Magis Video Sound Cleaning Lab with serial number, Sounds Forge Audio Studio 14 with serial number.

OK, I will probably need to take this program back to Best Buy and get something else to make videos Any suggestions

@ I wonder if it's installed but missing a desktop icon. Does it appear in your program list under Windows/Start? Look for Vegas.

The only thing that is on my desktop is the Magix Studio cleaning and when I click on it I get a message to add serial number which I have and got an email from it, however when I try to submit I get a message that it's the wrong serial number. I wonder if I should just totally delete everything and start over. I know the email I registered them in is correct. However if I delete the program and try to install it again I will not be able to use the voucher or serial numbers right. I will probably get a message that the serial number and voucher number has already been used. When I log in and open my account it shows that I have the program on there and it shows the serial number.

I just pulled something up on my computer and it's telling me the my: Availability Status: Sync Pending.

Would that mean it's not fully loaded? I actually have a new computer and it still taking a long time.
