Vegas 22 Build 93 crash at start (when he say "window creation")

Hello, I recently reinstall my windows 11. I tried to install Vegas Pro 20 Build 411, but he crash at startup (when he say "window creation") without any error message. So I decided, to upgrade my version to Vegas 22, because I thinked Vegas 20 was obsolete. But Vegas 22 have the same probleme at the same moment always with any error message. I can't understand what is the problem. I already tried almost all "solutions" on this page: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-vegas-pro-won-t-start-what-can-i-do--104784/

Someone know what is the problem?

We are desperate to fix this problem, but have not been able to reproduce the problem on our machines and need a dump file generated from the hang in order for us to determine what is causing this problem in the French version.

Where I can find the file you need? I have seen some files in \%AppData%\Local\VEGAS Pro\ErrorReport could they help you?

Oh it's not a problem. I have another computer, I can do that for you. A computer that never had Vegas on it.
Just tell me what I need to do when i would have installed Vegas 22 in french on my other computer.

Thank you for submitting this. My preliminary analysis shows that this seems to be an issue with the update service inside of VEGAS. We will investigate and try to get this fixed for the next major update of VPro 22. (It is too late to get a fix in for the patch which we have scheduled to release next week.)

Hi Derek, I don t use realy often Vegas Pro, I'm not a video editing professional, but since June I have little time available to edit my personal rushes when the software doesn't work for months, it's really ambarrassing  when competitors are so agressive. I've been loyal to Vegas since 2009 as you can see by consulting my purshase hystoty, should I change now?

@Fabrice-Tharaud Can you install and use it in English until the next patch is released? Since you have used it since 2009 you likely have memorized where all the menus and buttons are even if the English is hard for you to read.

I had this same issue with VP 21 Build after 108. Anytime I tried to update to a higher version it did the same as you. I ended up uninstalling and deleting all folders associated with the software, especially with my WAVES audio plug ins and outside plugins, such as NEAT Video, etc and THEN i was able to update to build 315.

Everything is running too good now to change to VP 22.

And as a matter of fact, today, I turned off ALL GPU related OPTIONS (COULD NOT SEE 10 Bit XAVC S files) and let the CPU run everything now and it is really smooth now. I guess it doesnt play well with nVidia Geforce RTX 3060 8 GB.

Of course unchecking LEGACY HEVC actually fixed it not seeing the 10 BIT files.

How do you create or access a dump file? I just purchased Vegas Pro 365 on a capable windows 10 machine and the program won't even launch.

This may or may not solve the opening issue but hopefully will do so for you.

I updated the C++ software and now Vegas Pro 22 launches! Thank you and to the community for solving the issue

Hi all, I'm so desapointed, I'd try the 22 version but it doesn't work in french version as the 21 with the last release.... It is really frustrating, however I've sent the Dump File as requested to find a solution last month. So it will be difficult to sell version 22 to potential French users.

Does anyone have any news about a possible solution?

Still no solution yet. We have analyzed the dump file, but the solution is still eluding us and we have yet to reproduce this in-house. @Fabrice-Tharaud, could you please tell us what language and region your computer is currently set to?
