Vegas pro 16 won't launch

The app crashes at creating video plug in factory, latest and greatest windows 10, ssd, 128 gigs of memory I9 processor.

here is the crash log. I have a previous version and it works fine. Just got this new version and DOA.

Also, second question, I have all my Boris FX and other plug ins working on v15, can I migrate them easily to 16

They should just show up in VP16, although sometimes a plug-in is version-locked to an older version if it was bought in a bundle.

Vegas 16 is an old version. 18 is the current version. Where did you get 16 from?

It was a special offer from Humble Bundle, it was how I got most of my Magix software, the money goes to charity and it is all approved by Magix. Still it ought to work.

This appears to be a good clue. Temporarily move the folder 'IgniteCore.ofx.bundle', then try to launch.
If it launches, then Ignite, which I think is a HitFilm plug-in, isn't compatible with VP16.

If it launches, then Ignite, which I think is a HitFilm plug-in, isn't compatible with VP16.

Yes that and several others were the cause of the failed launch. Removing the plug ins fixed the problem. All the ignite profx folders had to be removed, not a great loss with Boris fx working but great catch, many thanks.
