Vegas Pro 17 and 18

Hi!

Need help quickly like today. I can’t work and I can’t loose money. When I downloaded Vegas 18 few months ago, the window was freezing all the time even if the audio kept going. Impossible to work. So I use the last version (17) thank god that one was sill installed and worked properly. But now, the 17 does the same cause I did accept the update. HELP! I need to get it fix in the next 24 hours. Can I speak to someone on the phone.

Using windows 10

Intel Core i5 8500 16 GO x64

My VP 17 & 18 audio problem was resolved when I resaved my .WAV files in SoundForge, changing the names--and the hz from 96 to 48. Obviously, these .WAVs got corrupted somehow--most likely as a result of either Windows Update and/or VP 17 UP.

It cost me $200 upgrading to 18, which I did not need, as I use Vegas for audio only.

Hope you can get out of hell. If you're working w .WAV, resave and relink them and see if you crash.

Hi! The wav is not the problem cause even if I import a new wav as soon as I cut any part, the image freeze right away but the sound keep going.

good thanks. I do not use the vidéo part. Only the audio tracks. As I said, the audio keeps running but the screen freeze. I looked all B and C but related to video. I don't know how it can help the audio. Is 16 Go is enough tu run Vegas?

@Julie-Robitaille Not sure if this address's your issue, but theres a link via my signature to a util to Copy Video and Convert Audio to AAC. Requires ffmpeg utils to be downloaded and added to the Windows PATH. Instructions are in the readme.
