Vegas Pro 17 and Vegas Post

pioneer109 wrote on 8/8/2019, 7:54 AM

I have downloaded the trial version of Pro17 and all seems to be working ok, is there any more news on Vegas Post which I have been led to believe will be released later in 2019 and can be used as an alternative to After Effects?

Not much that I know of since this comment but read also this from MathiasH for some buying/upgrading info.

A large number of people have been asking about VEGAS POST and when it will release. We cannot wait to get it out to our users. We are in final testing and hope to release it very soon.

Ok thanks for the info on Vegas Post. A question if I may, is/will Vegas Post be a plugin for Vegas Pro or will it be an all in one program? Sorry to be a bit thick on this but there does not seem to be a lot of info around at the moment, but the program from what I understand looks full of promise.

I think Vegas Post will be a bundle of several separate programs which co-operate in the way Premiere Pro does with After Effects.

I am looking forward to Vegas "Pre" - the one that fixes pre-existing conditions. THEN onto Post, which sounds pretty boffo.

The "pre-existing conditions" you incessantly complain about are minor grievances about the user interface... and you've already stated them multiple times in multiple threads. We get it. You don't have to keep spamming threads with them.

Systems:

Desktop

AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8 core 16 thread at stock speed

64GB 3000mhz DDR4

Geforce RTX 3090

Windows 10

Laptop:

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 32GB (9980HK CPU, RTX 2060 GPU, dual 4K touch screens, main one OLED HDR)
