I got an offer this morning for upgrade to Vegas Post Suite that includes Vegas Pro 19 when it is release in August. Price: $349.00 which for a long time was the upgrade price for Vegas Post Suite alone .. Sounds like I'd save the cost of upgrading to VP19 entirely if I buy this deal. Could save me $200 .. or thinking of it as I'm going to buy VP19 anyway, the Cost of Post Suite would be $150 .. Am I thinking of this right?
According to the offer on the website, the VEGAS POST Suite Upgrade price is $349 and "new version [ïs] included free". The VEGAS Pro Upgrade price on the website is currently $249 and "you get a new version of the same product for free".
OOPPPS ... I see now. This offer is nothing to get excited about. It's an upgrade offer at $349 for Vegas POST SUITE and a guarantee of Vegas Post Suite 19 when it comes out in August. It's just a pre-order for Vegas Post Suite 19. My bad.
@xberk It represents a good deal, AFAIAC, Edit would be $149 upgrade, if you'd do it now, you'd have Ver. 18 and later 19 for free. Yes, it's like a "pre-order" for 19 but usually the "early price" is a high one, this is pretty LOW by Vegas's own pricing record going back to the beginning.
I'm usually getting every other version (13,15,17). I'm on VP17 right now and was planning to get VP19. However, I'm going to get the offer. The reason is -- I'd like to have VP18 as they left some bugs introduced in later builds of VP17 not fixed. So I'm not excited about VP19 right now as based on previous history I do not think it will be usable until its ~3rd update.
I get this red notice when I try to purchase, prompted when I load VP16. Maybe an EU offer will become available later? "please select a suitable offer from another localization." How to do that?
Dear Customer. For legal reasons, a purchase from the United States Shop is only possible if the location of the invoice receiver is not located in an EU country. If you are located in the EU, please select a suitable offer from another localization. We appreciate the extra effort.
You should not just follow the OP's link. Go to your region section (it is vegascreativesoftware.com/au/ for me) and then go to Vegas Pro (or whatever you need).
Or follow the link, then scroll to the bottom, click US flag icon and switch region.
Hi VKMAST, I notified my fellow (Irish) VP buddy, he went just ahead of me and did that, when he had the same difficulty, but paid in £'s with conversion. So it was still simpler to do in €'s. Thanks.
Thank you john_dennis. I saw the same offer and was about to purchase it this morning (I've been using Sound Forge 11 for several years) when I saw the Vegas offer and was just exploring that a bit (I've been using Vegas Pro 16) to see if that might be the better option. Thank you for pointing it out. I appreciate it.
Just one more query, re: the iZotope app that comes with VP18. I don’t recollect that it came with last years VP18? as well as Sound Forge 14.
Is the iZotope app just a 1 year duration? and how many PC's can it be installed on, 2?
When I checked the download installer for the previous VP18, I now see that it had iZotope 7 as a download option, but I had no Serial no. in my email for it last year, maybe it was a trial only last year? and the vp18 email today does have a serial number for iZotope app.
@vkmast Aok, I’ll try installing the iZotope on my 2nd. machine tomorrow and see if it takes.
I do recollect installing it last year, but removed it when I realised I could only run it in demo mode, as I had no serial no. Either it was a demo only last year, or I never got the serial number.
Wow! The Vegas Pro 18 Edit upgrade (plus the free VP19 upgrade) for $149 seems a pretty sweet deal for VMS owners! I'll probably grab that and another Vegas Movie Studio license for $49, since I just discovered that my FXhome Ignite plug-in is good for only for a single machine when I tried to also install it on my new laptop.
So for only $49, I'll get a second NewBlue Elements 3 license in the VMS 17 bundle (which I really like for its DVE), plus that second FXhome license (since the same FX are still bundled through July 13th).
Oh, it's cool. Hopefully not, but I know I'll probably end up buying the full-versions eventually (i.e., will probably buy EVERYTHING this coming Black Friday!).
@vkmast I think I got mixed up! iZotope Ozone 8 Elements came with my separate purchase of Sound Forge Audio Studio 13. It's integrated into Audio Studio 13 after installation. I have the SN for it although when I ran it now, no prompt for activation, maybe I already have activated it previously.
I have now installed the iZotope RX7 Elements on 3 machines, that comes with this most recent VP18+VP19 deal.
I already have SoundForge Pro 14 and a subscription to Boris Continuum Complete that lasts through June 2023, so I'm inclined to go for VP19 Pro if it includes SFP15, but not the Suite, and not Post. Meanwhile, are the new and improved features of VP19 posted?
