Is there a direct download link to the patch that works? The one posted in the other thread doesn't work for me, and the auto update when running Vegas doesn't work because current version doesn't exit properly for me (I have to always manually terminate the Vegas process which in turn kills the patching process).
Thanks for the update. I noticed audio stutter when enabling/bypassing audio plugins as the video plays. No matter what audio device is used.
But...this is not new. It's been like this before. V18 is the same.
Interestingly it wasn’t too bad in the previous version. Seeing Vegas started as an audio editor then you’d think that would be a priority to fix. Similar audio glitches happen in 5.1 mixing using ASIO and oh ya…we need VST3 support too.
The Direct Download Link may not work in a browser (Chrome) without a workaround of copying the link text and pasting it to the browser. I just tested this (I'm in Northern Europe as well).

Just downloaded the update. W10 PC 64gig ram. Tried 4 times and each time after I close the program (it does close ok) I get the Vegas Has Stopped Working window. I did complete it and hit send. I also tried running as Administrator with the same result. Other than that, thank you for the update.
Ouch, Version 13 and 18 works well, so I just bought version 19 worked fine until I did the 'critical upgrade' now just crashes on startup when forming the windows. A bit peed off..

Can you provide details about your system- it's working for most so what's the commonality among those where it fails? Plugins?
I'm having the same issue with build 361 where the application crashes at startup. Ran just fine before. I've tried resetting to defaults at startup, but still crashes.

The "msvcp90.dll" is a Visual Studio 2008 C++ file. The Unmanaged Exception could be any one of a number of issues. Won't start in Safe Mode, tried replacing the offending .dll, added Vegas Pro 19.0 to my GeForce Nvidia control panel, etc. Nothing has helped. Tried to download again, only to get the latest version, and not the first release as I was hoping. Looks like if I want a video editor I'm going to have to reinstall 18.0 again. Bummer.
No crashes on start or close here (manual update).
But long delay (20+ seconds) on "Creating windows". (Compared to previous version which was much faster starting). Tested 2 or 3 times with same result.
All the auxiliary windows are created but the main timeline is the one that takes time.
I have not tested in real world project yet. That will be this afternoon.

System:
Windows 10 Pro with latest updates and patches
Intel Core i9-9900K
500GB SSD, and 16TB onboard storage total
64GB RAM
GeForce GTX 2070
I also have BorisFX Continuum 2021.5 installed
@David-Hill I have almost the same HW/SW config - (see my signature), but I do not have a crash on startup or close; I do not know your virtual memory (page file size setup) in windows, but mine is fairly large at fixed 19700 MB and not on my C-drive; perhaps try to increase the page file helps to avoid the issue?
