First of all my PC is very good holding a very good processer and graphics card (RTX 3080).

I've been editing using the software for a few weeks now on the same saved file, but only yesterday I open it up to edit and all of the preview is very laggy. I'm having trouble with the frames loading and don't understand why.

I've tried to combat this issue by creating Video Proxy for each of my mp4 content, but its taking ages as I've got 94 long files. I've disabled "legacy HEVC decoding".

I've set Vegas Pro to have High priority from Task Manager.

And have tried setting my Dynamic Ram Preview to 30% and also with the 0 method.

This has helped make it smooth a bit but it is NO WHERE NEAR what it was a few days ago (a few days ago it was fine, crashed a few times but that is Vegas for you).

I've searched all over the internet, on YouTube videos and everyone seems to have different answers to solve this issue and they don't seem to solve the actually problem.
