  • Are you entering all the numbers after "P"?
  • Are you using the same email address?
  • Where and when did you buy the software?

I had the same issue and tried and tried again. Finally it took. I even had a screen to try again later. They may be swamped. Who knows?

But it was NOT an easy download and install for quite a number of reasons....one being the above. My computer seemed to be resisting moving thru windows too.

However...my V edit 19 is running fine on a high end, XPS Dell computer, 8th gen processor.

I opened Vegas Pro 18 today and it is asking me to register the software, but when i input the product key sent directly to me by MAGIX it fails to register. Their customer support is shite. How do I get a working product key?

@Eric-Wenschlag Sorry to hear that you had no success with the customer support. Please try again... the servers may have been very busy.

Please try and visit www.vegascreativesoftware.com/support between 12:00 and 4:00 pm Central time weekdays (currently GMT-5) and use the chat widget in the lower-right-hand corner to chat with a customer service representative directly. (This is mentioned in this FAQ, item 6.)
