video preview disturbed

Francesco-Castellani wrote on 1/6/2025, 3:43 AM

clicking on video preview the full screen image is disturbed a lot, flashes and is unstable

This kind of problem occurs when I click on video preview full screen from a stationary cursor on any clip in the timeline and play the video. at that point the full screen view flashes intermittently and very fast. I have never experienced this problem with any version of Vegas, (i used this program since the version 13). actually, as always, my settings project in Vegas are: 1920x1080 p - 25 fps - time line during the editing is in half preview - the laptop i'm using to edit is a lenovo, with desktop resolution 1920x1080 60 HZ - windows 11 - Vegas pro 22 licensed -

Thank you a lot for your attention

Update from Francesco:

My system: Intel(R)Iris(R)Xe Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce MX350.

RogerS wrote on 1/10/2025, 2:11 AM

@Francesco-Castellani What if you go to options/preferences/video in VEGAS and change the GPU from the NVIDIA MX350 to the Intel Iris Xe? I wonder if the NVIDIA only having 2GB of VRAM is causing problems in VEGAS.

I assume your GPU drivers are recent; if not consider updating them on the Intel and NVIDIA websites.
