How do I set which transport keys are displayed. For example I do not require 'record/arm' button in the preview window set. Somehow I switched the original limited set to the full set.
That last 'key' was missing. It was present when I added extra keys but then vanished. Closed VP15 & reopened but no joy. Opened VP after a cold boot and the 'key' was back. Panic over. Thanks again.
While I don't use those buttons, I let them vanish (almost all) because for most quick tasks I use my keyboard. See on my screenshot my interface of 14, but I have the same in 15 and 16 by switching them off in the menu and that gives me a lot of extra space.

Good point ! I use mostly ShuttlePRO v2 for quick tasks - or also the keybord. But I've never thought to hide the transport bar, which I'll do right now. Again saved space for more important things. Thanks, j-v !
Yes, the "hamburger menu" system was implemented in VPro 15. For VPro 14 you can use j-v's suggestion. Note that those buttons are also available on the Timeline Toolbar, which can be customized.
Thanks for clarification in that 14 & 15 differ. I usually edit in Edius but set Vegas up to a similar layout. Preview is via BM4K to a tv so the preview window size is not critical. The cost of Grassvalley upgrades is a tad high compared with Magix and no humble bundle offers so maybe back to VP fulltime in the future.
