VP16 crashes at launch (white screen)

Hi, my VP16 just crash again and again when i start to launch it (he launch then i saw the timeline in white then it crashes)

My drivers are updates, i tried to uninstall and install again and again all the composants, one by one too but it's just not working and i don't understand why. I also tried to rename some folder as "OLD" and launch vegas, or to move the folder OfxStitch.ofx.bundle away but it's not working too..

I tried many "solution" of this post https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-edit-16-won-t-open--112623/

but nothing is working

I need help :(

Mostly when the program crashes it delivers an error message.
Is the program crashing or freezing and if it crashes didn't you get a message?
NewBlue stuff installed?

No i don't have a message when the program is crashing, the white screen is there for like 3 seconds then it close alone

Yes when i had VP15 there were newblue installed but i just uninstalled it then uninstall/install VP16 and it doesn't change anything

And i can't really know if it's freezing or crashing because it's only one image but i guess it's crashing because the program close by itself (but without any error message :( )

I bought yesterday the upgrade between VP15 to VP16 so it's the fully version of VP16, no it never opened well, the white screen is here since i installed the program for the first time yesterday

 

EDIT : i tried to install the trial version but the white screen is stille here.

Do you know how to force an error message to appear after the crash? It would help me a lot to find the source of the problem but since it closes automatically after 3 seconds of white screen, I have no way to solve the problem

I started with VP13 then i took the 14 then 15 every years approximately so it's like 3 years that i use Vegas pro and despite the bugs/crashes/freeze and other troubles that i've been trough with this program, i love so much to use VP, so yeah that's kinda sad that i can't use the new one..

VP15 was really great and well optimised for my computer so i didn't have much trouble with it, so i know that i can still use VP15 if VP16 continue to crash again and again but well.. i really wanted to have fun with the new version ahah, and i paid a pretty expensive price for this..

All those years and prior to this you hadn’t had a need to come to the Vegas forum? Did you purchase the Upgrade directly from MAGIX?

Every time i got a problem with VP, a simply google search or a search in this forum brought me to someone with same troubles so it was easy to correct all the bugs without posting anything.

This time i think VP16 is to recent so i'm one of the first ones with this trouble, maybe it's my bad because i bought VP16 to quickly after the launching, but well i was really hyped about it ahah

I have 1 GPU, i had some plugins (Newblue, ignite pro, hit film essentials, boris fx) but i uninstalled all to see if the problem was from there, but it doesn't change anything, i also uninstalled DVD maker.. Music Maker and everything about the installation of Vegas to see if the crash was about that but again it didn't change a thing

Yes the downloaded installer installed perfectly VP16 and all the features (that i uninstalled after to see if they were the problem), then when i launch vegas it make the white screen, and all the features, even uninstalled, didn't solve the problem

You said earlier you did this several times. Did you ever install first only the main Vegas Pro 16, as I and reportedly many others have done with success?

Yes i did install all the package once, then i downloaded again the installer, and did install only vegas with ticking the box, then i only installed vegas from /Installationsmanager

then i installed the trial version of VP16 and even the trial version make a white screen

If you look theselocations can you find a report?
C:\Users\current user\AppData\Local\CrashDumps
or
C:\Users\current user\AppData\Local\VEGAS\ErrorReport

At the last option I find many reports

Oh yeah i got many report, but it's .dmp file, i'll install something that let me open it to see what's inside

That is a powerfull machine. Maybe one issue could be to use the latest driver of the Geforce. I do not know really, but I would test it with older drivers.

But to test that more generic - Maybe it is a good idea to start Windows in the secure mode, to see if that helps.

You could send the reports, when they have the right dates, to Magix.
