Where can I do a topic search??

set wrote on 8/25/2016, 11:38 PM

+1 @MikeLV's suggestion

'New comment in post: "Topic Name"'

Hi 'name', 'someone' commented on a 'topic name' post that you are interested can be more helpful...

Anyway, the topic search feature is more urgent...

Another +1 for MikeLV's suggestion. I would also like to see the thread subject in the body of the email as well as the title if possible.

Also, may be it's just me, but when I saw the words "Link to comment" in the email, I initially thought they meant "Create a link to the comment". Would be more clear if it said "View comment...".

I want the notif to have this info so I can have my email reader auto "stack" alphabetically catergorise under Folders.

Yes, "View comment" ! I also thought it meant that my email system was going to be LINKED!

... and, to be utterly pedantic, you need an " in" after "interested" 😜😜😜

Grazie wrote on 8/26/2016, 4:04 AM

Is it grammatically correct to have levels of pedantry?

Yes, because I will now be somewhat pedantic by contesting that you don't really mean "grammatically".

Grazie wrote on 8/26/2016, 4:52 AM

Oh do explain. I'm all ears.

VEGAS_CommunityManager wrote on 8/26/2016, 5:14 AM

Guys, please stay focused on the topic.

These are all good suggestions but keep in mind that even little changes need some time. So, please, have some patience.

Understood. Plenty of patience here. 😉

NickHope wrote on 8/26/2016, 6:18 AM

Sorry Mathias.

More pedantry... I have been wrongly assuming that "Posts from: us" meant "See only posts from the MAGIX team". Capitals please, and perhaps an "A" on the end.

The built-in spell checking in the Chrome browser does not work in your editor posts. This is very inconvenient. I've not seen this in any of the forums I frequent and most everything is using different forum host software. Therefore it seems something is being done that disables this browser feature. Normally Chrome will spellcheck any "text" field.

MathiasH...

I may have missed this if it's already been discussed.  Are there plans for a live forum for the Acid Product line, too?  I use both Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12 and Acid Music Studio 9 pretty much every week.  I know about the forum archieve, but am hoping there will also be a live forum like the Vegas Movie Studio one.

I seem to have gotten Restored, even though, before I found the instructions from Matthias, I tried to log in and had to register. I got the message that my user name was already in use, and made up a new one. Then I saw and followed Matthias' instructions and Magixally (sorry) got my old name back automatically.

But now I'm setting up a new production computer, and want to download Vegas onto it. But I can't figure out how to do that. Can anyone help?

Widetrack, pls see the "Does any have..." thread.

Looking forward to seeing what Magix can do with Vegas!

I'm looking forward to establishing how much MAGIX is up for investing programmers/code writers in implementing our wishes.

IS there a way to search the form for specific keywords?
