Video fx processing is a function of the onboard CPU/GPU, not specific to any particular mother board.

I've had good luck with Asus motherboards over the years and am particularly happy with my latest build. I posted the benchmarks I ran in this other thread. The specific motherboard I went with is the Maximus XI Extreme but I think the less expensive models in the same series, like the Hero, would probably do just as well with Vegas.

Looks good for a budget board. It has been reviewed several times at Tomshardware in the 3.5-4.0 stars range.

All motherboards have downloadable manuals. Why not read the manual then ask questions. Just simple research before spending your $s

Thanks I don't want to build a PC that is slow choppy when playing back a video I'm a laptop it not spect out so it's not really fast and a little choppy I want more horsepower when editing or doing vxf or working with big files

I read manuals over a period of weeks then sat on the floor at Frys for over an hour touching and fondling my last motherboard before I bought it. I don't remember discussing it with anyone. My wife certainly didn't want to hear it.
