NewBlue Titler 7 in Movie Expansion Pack Vol. 1 - is it a full version (Titler Pro 7) or some kind of reduceret/locked/special version?? Description says "Titler 7" (not "Titler Pro 7")
@vkmast ... huh? Where did that direction come from? I've certainly never received an instruction from Vegas Creative Software this (e.g. from an email to all forum regular contributors), and the quoted comment is from the product owner so how and why can it not be referred to at a later time? If the product owner's comments aren't factual or not meant to be publicly available, then perhaps that comment should be removed from the forum. This is just getting weird!
@Dexcon nobody denied you the right to refer to that previous comment. It was current at the time, so no need to hide or remove the comment. Please regard my comment as an update to that comment. Sorry I can't be more clear and thank you for your understanding.
Info from Vegas' is a bit unclear, or maybe even contradictory. Continuous delivery of new functions …until the next upgrade? What's there to upgrade [to a next version] if you already got all the new functions by a continuous delivery? This sounds more like a subscribtion - so what's the difference between this new subscription model and 365 subscription?
However, i just need to know if i (365 subscriber) am able to use "Movie Expansion Pack Vol. 1" also in that future Vegas Pro?
A significant difference between 365 and a perpetual licence: a 365 subscription to Vegas Pro allows you use Vegas Pro while the subscription is current and being paid for. If you stop paying, access to Vegas Pro ceases until such time that it is renewed. With a perpetual licence for Vegas Pro 18 and earlier, you get updates until the next version is released, but if you don't upgrade to the next version you can still continue to use that now earlier version of Vegas Pro in perpetuity though there would unlikely be any future updates (2 exceptions to that I believe).

@janndk Gary is just saying that V19 is more affordable and cost-effective compared to V17 and 18, because each build of V17 and 18 doesn't offer new features, whereas V19 does ( just like GL transition, Realtime Optical Flow for the Slow Motion FX & Warp Flow transition, Color Key $ Mouse wheel control for Color Grading, AI plugin's Hardware Acceleration, etc. There will be more. ). That's all & Don't be over-interpreting the information.

I'm not over-interpreting. Just trying to get some very basic information. If "Movie Expansion Pack Vol. 1" - especially the included version of NewBlue Titler - can be used also in the future.
1. Vegas/Magix customer support says that they actually don't know what's in the pack 2. NewBlue customer support says that Titler is locked to "Vegas" (not specific to "Vegas 19"), but aren't quite sure
Some postings in this forum are implying that Vegas Pro 19 is a kind of final version - just continuous delivery of new function updates in the future. If true, Titler future compatibility problem solved, i guess. If not true, and there is going to be a Vegas Pro 20 etc, there might be a problem.
If Vegas were to update in such a way that the older OpenFX plugin was no longer compatible, then it would not be compatible in that future version. I don't see Magix doing this with VEGAS but it is true that support for future versions cannot be guaranteed.
I can definitely say, New Blue Titler Pro from the Movie Expansion pack does NOT work in Vegas 20. You can use it as a standalone, but that really defeats the purpose for having it in Vegas.
@Dan-Tuck, which version of Titler Pro are you referring to, and can you be more precise on what is not working? I have TP7 and it works in VP20 and 21. The main issue right now with the latest version, 230905 is it's failure to load the Library with the latest version of AMD's graphics driver, 23.9.2, so I am reverting back to 22.5.1, which has given me zero grief.
If you want possible help, provide the necessary information. PC specs (specific, like mine in my signature), which build of Vegas 20, what graphics card driver, and what specific does not work.
@Reyfox This is pertaining to NewBlue Titler 7 Pro that was part of the Vegas Movie Expansion Pack Vol. 1. I had ordered it when I had Vegas Pro 19. It worked great. But recently I decided to make Vegas Pro my exclusive video editing software and went ahead and upgraded to Vegas Post. At this point they were on the last build of Vegas Pro 20 before 21 came out. Now if I try to use New Blue Titler Pro 7, it won’t open. If I open the Titler Pro 7 app on it’s own, and render out a movie with the title I create, it’s fine, but I can’t go into the fx in Vegas, apply to the clip and expect New Blue Titler Pro 7 to open.
