When i open vegas, it messes up my audio, even after exiting

I downloaded the vegas trial tonight and when i open it, if i click on say youtube or music player and play audio, my right speaker has static fuzzing loudly blasting through and my left is just barely giving audio, and i will close the app, and the static will still be there, then have to restart the computer and then goes back to normal, but if i open sony vegas again, the static reappears. Theres no background static, just when i play audio. Havent seen any posts about this.

Where did you download Sony Vegas Pro 18 from (it must be this Vegas Pro 18 to be a current trial version - because there's no such product - https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/sony-vegas-vs-vegas--119881/

Nonetheless, I've not seen this mentioned on this forum over the years. It's probably an issue with your computer's audio system of which you have given no details. Try some of the options in your computer's Windows setting in Sound Settings.

i mean vegas, or else i wouldnt be registered to this site. It has to do with the app, i went through all that. disabled enabled this that restart, it wasnt anything with my audio, it happens, when i open the app

In no way does having a forum account mean that you have a legally purchased version of Vegas Pro - there is no link between the forum and registrations on MAGIX's My Account website. Funny that you should mention that though, because the requirement for such a link was discussed extensively on the forum recently.

Anyway, let's try start analyze it from this way: can you share your log file called "fileio_x64.log" which can be found in C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\18.0\fileio_x64.log ?

i got the free 30 day trial of it, from the vegas website, cause it made me register to get code, have movie maker, music maker, all this stuff, i just downloaded the thing, i dont know much about it, thats why im asking, and i have searched google for this issue, nothing like the issue im having, what is your problem

Thank you for providing the link from where you sourced the Vegas Pro trial. You need to be aware that there are lots of cracked/pirated versions of Vegas Pro on the internet that even today call it Sony Vegas Pro even though Sony has not been involved with Vegas Pro for some 6 years. For a brand new user to Sony Vegas in 2021, why would they even know to call it Sony Vegas Pro unless its been downloaded from a suspect web site? For many on this forum, there is an understandable resistance from those who have paid for the product to provide help to those who have stolen it. That is my ... and many others on the forum ... problem.

Are your stating this behavior is through another player, and not Vegas Pro? Does VP have the file on the timeline.

Does VP playback a PCM <.wav> file normally? Open or drag the file to the VP timeline.
