Why is there no slide show creator plugin in Vegas Pro?

I miss it also and that's why I always use the vf. projects of my slideshow creator of VMS in Vegas Pro.

If the OP really does not want to keep his Movie Studio installed for doing what j-v does, there's the VASST FasstApps script-like extension StillMotion available. Besides Movie Studio Platinum it works in Vegas Pro as well.

That one I have also for many years now and used it it the beginning a lot, but I don't know exactly why I use now most the VMS slideshow creator, but I think the reason is that you have to do more settings to get the results I like the most.

I've created a few slide show templates to my own taste in Vegas Pro. My wife likes to look at old paper photos, so I discolored the borders like a 1960s Kodak print. Making the templates can get tedious, but the projects can be reused.

I think, the VAAST Still Motion plugin is the same, as they have included in the Movie Studio, so why not in the Pro also? So I think I'm not the only one, who would like it ;-)

As j-v stated, StillMotion differs from the Slideshow Creator.

I'll be honest, this has been a topic of conversation in the office over the last few years. It does seem a bit silly that a tool in the consumer level product is not in the pro product as well. We will add this thread to our discussions about adding this to VP.

I can create slide shows very fast in vegas pro but I can't do it while having random transitions. But if one transition or just a cross fade is fine with you here is one method.
