Will there be another v17 update, do you think?

adimatis wrote on 5/27/2020, 3:23 AM

Hi Friends,

I wonder, will there be another build released for version 17 which will fix some of the issues, so that the upgrade to 18 will be a choice not an obligation? :)

I am sure v18 will be a much improved products, but I also hope that v17 will get an update to make the stabilizer stable - this is a major one for me, and hopefully also some of the other problems mentioned here by various users.

Of course it is only the Vegas team to know this for sure, but I wonder what do you think? And maybe someone from the team could confirm this...?

With no solutions for a (admittedly small) number of bugs or glitches I do have to use other products as well as Vegas, but I'd be much more inclined to only use Vegas, if that was an option.

Thanks,

Adi

Excellent, thanks! Looking forward for it. I hope and think that probably there will be one at least.

Vegas rarely crashes on my 9900K / VEGA 64 system, but I was having trouble today and had to keep restarting it. On one of the restarts the update notice posted. I downloaded it & will see how it handles this project.

Thanks Nick!!! That took me about a minute to download. I quit the one in Vegas after an hour of downloading and still had 40 percent more to go. James

I had no problem downloading the update from within Vegas, but when it's over and you go to install it, it tells you it can't install with Vegas Pro open!....when you close Vegas Pro, the install screen disappears and it does not install ! Thanks for the direct link Nick.........
